By Jane Mlambo| Zimbabwe Congress of Trade Unions (ZCTU) President Peter Mutasa has condemned SADC for hurriedly endorsing the Malawi elections when there were glaring discrepancies that have forced the Constitutional Court to order a re-run.

Responding to SADC Executive Secretary Dr Stergomena Tax, Mutasa said SADC should be ashamed of itself over its actions.

“You must be ashamed of yourself. You hurriedly endorsed this fraud and said MEC followed the electoral laws and the Constitution. Now without apologising, you want to appear you side with citizens while you are the defender of dictators in the region,” said Mutasa.
