By A Correspondent | An outstanding black Zimbabwean male nurse has died. Mr Simon Nkomo was working at a hospital in the southern part of England.

Colleagues have described him as the friendliest person on earth.

Mr Nkomo who titled himself “A Defender Who Believeth In Social Justice,” will be remembered for complaining about the lack of personal protective equipment (PPE) at work.

He was well known for dedication to his profession, and working hard.

He was employed by the respected company, Cygnet and was a registered mental health nurse in Cambridgeshire.

Mr Nkomo had been ill for nearly 4 weeks. There had become a glimmer of hope last weekend when he began showing some signs of recovery; But sad news was later announced Tuesday morning.

An official family statement was awaited at the time of writing,
