The US Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Brian Nichols, has belittled the Zimbabwe anti sanctions day set for Sunday.

Ambassador Nichols said that the amount of energy government is wasting on lobbying for the uplifting of the sanctions should instead be directed at efforts to bring about reforms prescribed for the sanctions to be lifted.

President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s government has blamed the worsening economic environment on the punitive measures the West has slapped on Zimbabwe.
