Tinashe Sambiri|The MDC Alliance has been plunged into mourning following the death of National Secretary for Security and Defence, Emmanuel Chimwanda.

Chimwanda, a former top cop, was fired by Zanu PF for refusing to persecute opposition members.

“The MDC Alliance mourns the passing on of the National Secretary for Security & Defense Emmanuel Chimwanda who was a former ZRP Ass Comm stationed in Masvingo and former Commissioner of the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission during the GNU era. The struggle is poorer.
