Deputy Minister Mike Madiro relocates from Home Affairs to Transport and Infrastructural Development.
Hon Kindness Paradza becomes the new Deputy Minister of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services. He replaces Hon Energy Mutodi.
Hon Matsikenyere, MP for Chimanimani becomes the Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution in charge of Manicaland. Hon Mabhoyi-Ncube from Beitbridge joins Home Affairs as Deputy Minister.
Commenting on the announcement, Presidential spokesman George Charamba said: “this puts paid to virulent speculation there was on the President’s options in the wake of the demise of key ministers.
“Pretentious scholars and impressionable newspapers placed imaginary insurmountable hurdles in the process, even suggesting the President had exhausted appointment options. We quietly chuckled at raging speculations by these know-it-all privileged citizens of ivory towers!“
