By James Gwati-Maxwell Sibanda, the Assistant Editor of the Daily News, has died.

He was 52.

Sibanda died on his way to Parirenyatwa hospital Sunday night.

Sibanda’s close relatives said the veteran scribe had not been well for some time.

“ He was complaining of ulcers and was getting medical treatment at Suburban clinic in Warren Park until yesterday evening when we thought of transferring him to Parirenyatwa private wards for better medical attention,” they said.

Burial arrangements will be announced soon.
