By James Gwati-The Joint Operation Command (JOC), has held an urgent meeting to discuss countermeasures the junta wants to take against the MDC-Alliance Leader, Nelson Chamisa’s planned national protests.
JOC comprises heads of the Central Intelligence Organisation, Zimbabwe National Army, Zimbabwe Republic Police, Airforce of Zimbabwe and the Zimbabwe Prisons and Correctional Services.
The junta held a two-hour-meeting last Thursday from 1400 hours which was focusing on scenarios and reigniting of state machinery in preparation of Chamisa calls for “a season of protests by the citizens.”
Chamisa last week though his party’s social media platforms addressed the nation under what he called Agenda 2021, and said that he would lead mass protests against Zanu PF’s abuses on citizens.
