By Leonard Koni- Douglas Mwonzora has been left with an egg on his face and done another proverbial sucker punch blow by being dumped and not even getting attention from the Zambian President elect Hikainde Hichilema. It’s clear that he is not attending the inauguration.

Nelson Chamisa’s political leadership is growing not only in Zimbabwe but across the Sadc region. It has been boosted by an invitation to attend Zambian President -elect Hakainde Hichilema.

Nelson Chamisa’s politics has become so organic entrenched in genuine political discourse with pure intentions and no hidden agendas.

According to President Emmerson Mnangagwa he recognised Mr Mwonzora as the official opposition leader in Zimbabwe but apparently not recognised regionally.

If you see a politician fighting for a political position more that fighting for people’s struggle then one does not deserve to be in position of power.

Douglas Mwonzora has been spending his energy and resources fighting another opposition through recalls instead of directing his energy to fighting corruption and pushing for the arrest of Henrieta Rushwaya who was caught red handed smuggling gold at Robert Mugabe International Airport. 

There are Zanu PF supporters who are supporting Mwonzora and advertising him to the people as the best opposition leader than Nelson Chamisa. 

On the other side the government is using #Covid19 to stop MDC-ALLIANCE leader from interacting by so doing they don’t know that they are indirectly marketing and selling him to the electorate.

In history Zanu PF has never liked any kind of opposition nor embraced one. Everybody knows that Zanu PF hates opposition with a passion. Mwonzora cannot be recognized beyond borders.

This is a lesson which must be learnt by people like Lovemore Madhuku and his crew who received Polad cars from President Emmerson Mnangagwa on the pretext that they are doing a service to the nation.
