By Showbiz Correspondent | Organisers of the Zimbabwe Achievers Awards Australia have confirmed that Perth based Contracts Law Consultant Gilmour Chimbetete will be the MC for this year’s awards gala dinner to be held on Saturday the 12th of October at the Crown Towers in Perth.

Gilmour has a unique combination of skills; he is a qualified lawyer and an engineer.

His community advocacy work with various organisations, such as Search Foundation and ZIC, reflects his deep social consciousness and commitment to improving the lives of those from disadvantaged social and economic backgrounds.

Zimbabwe Achievers Awards country director, Mr Method Mukundu promised yet another unforgettable experience at the premiere social event that congregates high achiever from different walks of life.

The awards are headline sponsored by Frontier Wealth Group whose CEO, Stephen Mandigora was recently in Perth on a business trip.

“All modalities are in place and the different stakeholders have touched base with an eye on a night of celebration and ongoing culture of uplifting each other,” the ZAA said in a statement.

Voting for the 10 contestable awards is in progress via the ZAA website www.zimachievers.org and will run till the 6th of October 2024. The other 10 direct awards will be conferred to deserving recipients decided by select committees.

Preparations for the glamorous event are on track and more details will follow as organisers will be announcing the keynote speaker and guest of honour ahead of the 12th of October 2024 event date. Tickets are now available on Eventbrite.
