By Dorrothy Moyo| Former President Robert Mugabe has reportedly met his former deputy Joice Mujuru inside his Blue Roof residence.
This was revealed during an interview with the US based Studio 7.
The National People’s Party (NPP) leader announced that she visited her former boss at his Borrowdale home on Tuesday.
She said he was misled into firing her. “I am now just now being told by Mugabe that he was wrong he should have done things properly. Strangely he is now openly talking that things did not go in the correct way because he was lied to –

Mujuru also claimed that Mugabe is surprised that the soldiers who knew the correct way of government decided to take up arms to take over the state. Varikutoshamisika kuti vakomana vavaifudzira kuti vanoziva gidi harisiriro rinotungamirira hurumende nhasi ragidi rakutungamirira hurumende zvamboita sei.”

Mujuru is sick in the mind.She should have asked Robert about what happened to Rex. Anyway, for interests’ sake ‘where was DisGrace when Robert & Joice were discussing all this much ado about nothing? If Robert says he was lied to, he should say by who.

In short, the old man should have heeded advice long back to groom or
name a successor and retire. Since 2014, this man was now too old to
work. He is a human being just like any one. We were being led by a man
who was too old to reason. It is a fact that as you grow old especially
to such ages beyond 85, you become senile, you become like a child
again. And as you grow even older, even very rudimentary tasks like speeking, walkin, staying awake, remembering etc etc become mammoth tasks.
That is one of the mistakes.

The old man brought all this upon himself. He should not have allowed his divisive and garrulous wife even in the neighborhood of politics.
The soldiers had no option as Mugabe was about to make his wife President, also allowing his wife to abuse senior members of his cabinet and not allowing somebody to take over. So the fault is of his own making. He used the gun to stay in power & eventually the gun decided it had had enough staying in the background and it went full blown.
