Court Frees Zvorwadza and Co

Staff Reporter |Stendrick Zvorwadza and 14 others who were represented by ZLHR lawyer Kennedy Masiye, who appeared in court today have been released on bail
According to the Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights (ZHLR), “The NAVUZ members were arrested around mid-day on Friday 15 July 2016 and were charged with disorderly conduct in a public place as defined in section 41(a) of the Criminal Law (Codification and Reform) Act.’
MAGISTRATE Rumbidzai Mugwagwa released the 14 Members of the National Vendors Union of Zimbabwe (NAVUZ) on $50 bail.
