Terrence Mawawa, Gweru | An infuriated Zvishavane woman is receiving $10 000 from her husband’s mistress as part of adultery damages.
Bongai Masvora, who has been entangled in a perennial fight for her husband, Elton Masvora, with Vimbai Zvavazhinji, is demanding the money as part of adultery compensation after the latter refused to heed her persistent warnings that she was legally married to Elton.
Bongai procuded pictures of her husband having quality time with Zvavazhinji when the matter was heard before Magistrate Story Rushambwa last week. Bongai also produced pictures of Elton and Zvavazhinji pleasuring themselves at Motopos.
She also told the court that her husband and Zvavazhinji were in love since 2013 and she once visited the latter and warned her to stop dating her husband. Zvavazhinji who was madly in love with Elton did not heed Bongai’s warning. Zvavazhinji also bragged about her beauty and vowed never to leave the married man, causing untold suffering for Bongai.
Bongai said she also produced a marriage certificate in a bid to convince Zvavazhinji to distance the woman from her husband but she remained defiant. After assessing the presented evidence before him, Magistrate Rushambwa said Zvavazhinji would pay for the pain and suffering she brought to Bongai and her family.
It was also indicated that Zvavazhinji deliberately chose to ignore Bongai’s calls to distance herself from the married man.

Why do women fight over these idiots. This story makes one believe that the guy is a child. How come he was not charged for causing a lot of grief to his wife? Laws should punish both for committing adultery and not one person only. This wife must demand compensation from her husband. Also what I do not understand is why she kept on in the marriage. Could have been better if she had just divorced him and taken her lot. Makes better sense than to live in pain like this for years with this idiot.

When a man dates another woman he should also imagine his wife dating another man for him to recognise the bad behaviour, the first woman has to live with the additional woman with so much pain as vahosi and is likely to lose the inheritance of an empire she laboured for, most men flirt according to wealth and in some cases this leads to their downfall as women fight for supremacy. The poor children are subjected to a world of confusion on as to where dad will be for the rest of the week, the whole business comes with a lot of stress and vana stat taking drugs as they think that the world is wierd, is upside down. The whole activity leaves a trail of sadness and can be avoided if polygamy is banned thus reducing the spread of diseases and abuse of drugs.
