Controversial Local Government Minister Saviour Kasukuwere escaped humiliation in Chiredzi this morning.
Kasukuwere who was scheduled to address a meeting to dish out free stands to ZANU PF youths, had to rush in and cancel the meeting after learning that former Vice President Joice Mujuru’s party was holding another meeting a kilometre’s radius away.
Kasukuwere’s meeting has since been re-scheduled for tomorrow to avoid a clash with the Zim People First meeting.
However, sources told ZimEye.com the proposed youth gala is still going on and youths were at the time of writing being mobilised to seize Francis Nhando’s farm and former Governor Maluleke’s cattle. More to follow…
