The former editor of NewZimbabwe.com and now editor of the government owned Chronicle newspaper, Mduduzi Mathuthu, has been kicked out of his job.
Mathuthu was today axed by a government directive handed by Zimpapers CEO Pikirayi Deketeke in Bulawayo.
The development comes after Mathuthu had published articles attacking Johannes Tomana and also recently humiliating Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa on his role in the Gukurahundi atrocities of the 80s.
Sources say Mathuthu has since been seconded for the state’s Namibian based Southern Times off shoot. More to follow…
