The Zimbabwe Republic Police descended violently on protesters this morning. ALSO READ – Chihuri Says Police Can Be Beaten Up.
ZimEye.com is receiving reports of several people injured when ZRP cops attacked a demo organised by the Tajamuka group. The below account has been narrated by missing activist Itai Dzamara’s brother, Patson:
ZIMBABWE, LET’S DRAW A SOLID LINE IN THE SAND.
Today I joined the cash crisis demonstration organised by Tajamuka.
The morbid and austere character of the Zimbabwe Republic Police was once again revealed. Their unpalatable demons manifested against the peaceful protesters.

While I was addressing the gathered protesters, another team of riot police came through with their terrifying water cannons. They barbarically unleashed their brutality on the peaceful protesters today.
I was one of the last individuals to flee the scene and while I was running I saw an old man lying on the side of the road, bleeding profusely.

I was honestly afraid but I could not leave the old man. I ran to him and picked him up. Another protester joined me. Together we rushed to my car and took the old man to hospital.
He was badly hurt by the root police and he is currently receiving medical attention.
Zimbabweans, the time for us to draw a solid line in the sand has come. We can’t allow Mr. Mugabe and his minions to continue treating us like rags.
This is unacceptable. We want our country back and there is nothing Mr. Mugabe and his monkeys can do to stop us.
We shall not relent. A new and better Zimbabwe is possible in our lifetime.

  1. The demonstrations by tajamuka and the teachers appear genuine compared to the Mdc one’s. Not taking anything from the Mdc organisers, I think they are doing a good job.the problem is with the participants, they are just doing it for show off that’s all.you can see from the body language, that they are just there for selfies nothing else.their behaviour is disgusting at this crucial time.to find selfish individuals behaving like this.chalton hwende does make matters worse by the begging bowl that he is always splashing around.its like a money making scheme, like they want to be paid for a job well done. And tswangirai and his wife should just stay at home, what message are they sending really.they always look like they are going to a wedding, the wife in heels kkkk, veduwe pademo.and we haven’t seen nothing yet, Mr rally organiser is back -Chamisa, at this crucial time he is going to churn useless rally after rally where they just parade their designer outfits.they should just join the tajamuka team – they know what they are doing. Who ever is organising demonstrations in Mdc know what he is doing too but is being let down by selfish politicians.Mdc has lost its mojo

  5. It’s time we start contemplating on getting armed my fellow country man. If we can smuggle cooking oil into the country we certainly can smuggle guns and grenades. We seriously need to start lifting a much more robust and determined resistance. Jonathan Moyo needs another of his so called Angel’s taken. He certainly did not learn no lessons on the Zane incident. Pain must be met out to those dogs. By any means necessary!
