Staff Reporter | Prophetic Healing and Deliverance Ministries (PHD) leader prophet Walter Magaya, who has been under the media spotlight over many issues to do with his conduct, including sexual escapades involving women in his church is under media spotlight again. This time pictures below of a guest house he is alleged to own doing the rounds, on online publications and social networks, with many asking the obvious question, “How has this been funded?”
Recently Zimbabwe’s state owned newspaper, The Herald reported that Magaya is going to build 46 000 houses countrywide with questions being raised again, how he acquired so many stands, at a time that ordinary Zimbabweans are threatened with ‘Operation Murambatsvina’ part 2 as government embarks on another cruel programme to demolish houses they have sweated for.
The preacher officially opened the guest house, in Waterfalls, with a capacity to accommodate 2 000, people which will be used by PHD visitors attending prayer sessions.
 

Magaya said after his arrest two weeks ago, he was now “energised” to fight harder, as he had realised he had many enemies and countable friends.
“My spirit was energised by the event that took place two weeks ago. They made a mistake. Now I am ready to show
them this: I am here to change your life. I will do this in a very short space of time and because of that, I will achieve it,” he said.
Magaya was two weeks ago arrested on rape allegations and is out on $2 000 bail with stringent reporting conditions.
The hotel project, he said, was completed within four months and cost “millions of dollars”.
It created more than 2 500 jobs on the construction site and will create 250 permanent jobs for workers, who attend to visitors.
“From now, my focus is building houses for my partners, people who have stood by me through thick and thin,” he told the crowd, which included Tourism deputy minister Anastacia Ndlovu and Indigenisation minister Patrick
Zhuwao, among other senior government officials.

    2.Phd is growing at a fast rate prompting other churches to be convinced that they will be empty soon
    3. By introducing a housing scheme very senior people in govt who grabbed vast tracks of land felt their failures were going to be exposed as well.
    4. Phd ministries is now the solution centre in terms of healing, deliverance and testimonies are flooding every minute so the devil Will try by all means to see him down.
    5. Old churches are now failing to tell people why they can not heal even flu yet we know jesus Christ as the healer.

We have visitors come from all over the world every week. So instead of renting other people’s places the ministry decided to build it’s own place.

  14. “he was told to drop everything he is doing” you are contradicting yourself, he was told to focus on ministry yet he is now focusing on business – guesthouses, hotels, property development, farming, mining etc all in less than 5 years. Thats why i said im not surprised because he himself said he had 80 projects and it seems now he is pursuing those projects he had before starting ministry. Look i dnt know you and i dnt even need to know you to know what kind of person you are, your own words betray you. You talk about disciples being picked yet you purposely dnt mention that Peter and company didnt go on to build fish factories, buy vineyards etc – they forsook all and focused on preaching the word. These guys were practically poor in terms of asset ownership so your example doesnt exonerate your papa – they are 2 different examples.

    A PROPHET HAS NO HONOUR IN HIS OWN COUNTRY:
    Who is Prophet W Magaya???
    The leader of the Prophetic Healing and Deliverance Ministries, Prophet W Magaya, seem to have been able to give hope to the hopeless, God has used him to provide answers to those with unanswered questions.
    The anointing upon him is of healing, deliverance and prophecy. But he has gone a step further to go practical as the bible says in James 2 v 15 -16 “Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it?”
    Prophet Magaya has been seen assisting the less priviledged in a number of areas: he pays fees for thousands of children, runs a progamme that gives out food handouts to the elderly, he has provided shelter to the destitutes – he bought a house for Max who was staying under Mukuvisi bridge. Indeed mukoma Max was seen moving from grass to grace. Not to mention the state he was in with sores all over his body. His health was restored through the anointing upon Prophet Magaya.
    The healing and deliverance of Antony Thole became the talk of town in Chitungwiza. Mukoma Antony was mentally disturbed for twenty years. Prophet Magaya bought him clothes and built a house for him in Chitungwiza. Another miracle was that of Garikai Zindi. Who was totally healed and he bought a house for him in Rusape. All these people are under his care. He provides their daily needs.
    Prophet Magaya has also been used by God to provide employment. He has thousands of people working under him. The housing project would see him employing thousands more.
    God has used his vessel Prophet W Magaya to restore relationships in families especially in those situations where people suspect that one is bewitching them, the barren have been able to conceive, those suffering from various addictions have been delivered, broken marriages have been restored even for those who separated for over twenty years. Doctors have started referring patients to him for God’s intervention. The ministry believes that the ‘first report is not the last report’ where the doctors have given one few more days to live God has restored their health. Prophet Magaya says medicine is a gift of God. He is therefore not in anyway fighting the medical system.
    The time bomb is the housing project which will see many allocated with stands at reasonable rates. Why then is there so much unrest about this Prophet? He made it very clear that he has no intentions to join politics as he was clearly informed by his mentor Prophet TB Joshua that he has a lot of work to do in the house of God after visiting him with 80 projects. He was hoping that Prophet TB Joshua would show him the project to run with but he was directed to the work in the house of God.
    Prophet Magaya is here to fulfill his mandate which is to proclaim good news to the poor, to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners. (Ref. Isaiah 61:1).
    The ministry has received visitors from all over the world who come in search of solutions to their problems and they have been assisted.
    He is not a threat in the political arena…
