Staff Reporter| Barely hours after appointing new ministers, experts have come out to challenge President Emmerson Mnangagwa on the move.

UK academic Dr Nkululeko Sibanda, among other experts reveal that Mnangagwa’s cabinet setup is illegal from inception.

The cabinet, revealed today has 5 women out of over 30 members. There is also a disproportionate distribution of tribes and regions in the set up.

“…In a country of laws, is still illegal,” said Dr Sibanda.

He continued saying, “it has about 5 women out of over 30 members. It needs to be challenged in a court of law.

“ED needs to learn that the law is a must not a convenience for him. Gender and regional balance is a requirement of the law.”

  1. Mnangagwa came in with a promise to right the wrongs of the past. So we expect him to be different and stick by the law – holding him to his word. You are a desperate simpleton!

  2. And where were these experts when Robert Mugabe rod roughshod on the entire nation for 37 years? Where were they when he stole one election after another since 2000. Experts my foot! Lets give this new administration a chance!

  3. We have yet to see what Mnangagwa is capable of. So far nothing yet so we can’t exactly say we have a “God given leader”
All the the people who reported as arrested are out of the country except Chombo. Grace is still parading her stupidity in our midst. The farms she seized have not yet become to government including the blue roof. We are waiting for something to happen to show us where we are going. So far ZERO. Early days yet. Simbi munoda kukohwa uchapisa. You gained momentum but you are now letting the window close!

  4. Why is Bona allowed to take this highly paid post. Zimbabwe has people who are highly educated and no jobs. Universities are churning more and more young people who can’t find work. Bona and her husband come from the big names in Zimbabwe. She can work for her mum or support charities surely. Enough is Enoug! Give us a chance ndapota!
