By Farai D Hove| As the price of bread and now of fuel (Monday morning) shot up, the man who was Grace Mugabe’s first victim in government, former Deputy Justice Minister Fortune Chasi wrote out that trust of leadership is needed.

Without specifying the type leaders he was talking about, Advocate Chasi wrote, “trust is a key element of leadership.

“When the led trust their leaders this has serious transformational effects. Let’s not fool our selves -Leadership without trust is not leadership,” Advocate Chasi penned on his Twitter portal.

He continued stating that, “trust releases the inherent potential within the people, the organization & the country.”

On Friday the ZANU PF leadership fell low of trust when Presidential advisor Chris Mutsvangwa announced that the army is going to assist Emmerson Mnangagwa to win the upcoming elections. Mutsvangwa was criticised by many inside ZANU PF who include the party’s Legal Secretary, Paul Mangwana.

  1. The speech by Mutsvagwa did not caue the rce to hike. The prices were always going to hike. Did you all hear Chinamasa talking about air-ballo moneies that were just sent from RBZ to banks through empty-backed RTGS, variuos of them. It is these air-ballon monies that are now finding their way nto the real goods market f te economy to rationalise itself. There is toomuch money. a lot of it this RTGS monies chasing too nfew goods in the economy, rsulting in rising prices

  2. Why do people in higher offices just talk without sensing things which affect the ordinary people”s life which affect the whole nation.

  3. Mutsvangwa was telling the truth as usual – that the change is not about a change in bahaviour – stolen elections and voter intimidation – but that the ones who will be doing the intimidation will change a bit with the army becoming the substitute for the ZANU PF directed Youth Brigade.

So, the ZANU PF people who are criticizing are disingenuous because what Mutsvangwa said is EXACTLY what ZANU PF does to maintain power no matter who is the leader.
