By Dorrothy Moyo| The Sunday Mail’s former editor, Edmund Kudzayi has thrown daggers at MDC leader Nelson Chamisa.
Writing on Saturday morning while commenting on Chamisa’s hospital visit to Silveria Mission hospice yesterday, Kudzayi mocked Chamisa’s act of laying hands to pray for a sick child. He referred to Chamisa as “a political animal’ Zimbabwe’s voters are now set to react to.
In the same thread, he also at another point compared Chamisa to Emmerson Mnangagwa’s wife, (Amai)Auxillia who has also been visiting hospitals and has received numerous negative reactions.
Kudzayi appeared to be dancing on the famous Shona proverb- Kugocha Kunoda KwaAmai (Amai is always right), but in this case, the antithesis is Kudzayi’s point which is, “Kugocha kunoda kwaChamisa.”
Kudzayi’s point appeared thus to say when Auxillia does it, it is wrong, but when Chamisa does the same, it is all okay.
Below was his comment…
Eager to see how an electorate pumped up on prophets and superstition responds to this strange political animal. pic.twitter.com/kHo0vctyGf
