Mugabe To Appear Before Parliament

The portfolio has summoned former President Robert Mugabe to appear before it on May 9.

The appearance is for him to stand to explain his February 2016 video recorded statement in which he said that the country was prejudiced of more than $15 billion in unrealised diamond revenue.

Other people to be summoned are former Vice President Dr Joice Mujuru and former Police General Augustine Chihuri.

So far Chihuri has sent apologies saying he is at present busy receiving medical treatment outside the country.
