A senior National People’ s Party(NPP) official has urged Zimbabweans to celebrate the defeat of”coup plotters” in the just ended Zanu PF primary elections.

NPP Spokesperson Jeffryson Chitando yesterday said the people of Zimbabwe would vote resoundingly for the opposition in the coming elections.

” Zanu PF supporters are punishing the Lacoste
coup leaders for lying to the nation.
They claimed that they were targeting
criminals surrounding Robert Mugabe but nobody was arrested,” said Chitando.

“The same coup plotters are unpopular and they lose the elections dismally,” added Chitando.
