An aspiring Zanu PF MP has pledged to work tirelessly to improve the welfare of the socially disadvantaged people in the community.

Benjamin Mazarire, regarded as a rank outsider in the Masvingo Urban Constituency primary election race, stunned all and sundry when he romped to victory against the odds.

“I feel sorry for orphans and widows in the community. I will work hard to improve their welfare.

I have already put in place plans to help the socially disadvantaged people in Masvingo Urban Constituency,” he said.

“I have also paid water bills for widows in Mucheke and Rujeko Suburbs,” added Mazarire.
