Enigmatic Masvingo State Minister Josaya Dunira Hungwe’ s blasphemous remarks have angered several community leaders here.

Hungwe stunned congregants at the AFM Women’s Conference at Rufaro Mission last week when he equated First Lady Auxillia Mnangagwa to Jesus.

“Hungwe’ s comments are totally unacceptable.He completely violated freedom of worship and association,” said a Community Tolerance Reconciliation and Development(COTRAD) official.

“Hungwe must apologise to AFM and Christians in general.He abused the pulpit in a desperate attempt to please his political bosses,” said a local church leader.
