Joice Mujuru’ s National People’s Party (NPP) has described controversial Deputy Minister of Finance Terrence Mukupe as a dangerous element in a democratic society.

NPP Spokesperson Jeffryson Chitando yesterday said Mukupe’ s remarks on
People Living With HIV and AIDS in Zimbabwe were unfortunate .

“Terrence Mukupe’s reckless
utterances stigmatized people living with HIV and AIDS.

A Deputy Minister of Finance who
does not care about the plight of people living HIV and Aids
cannot guarantee the support of positive policies to
alleviate the HIV/AIDS scourge,” said Chitando.

“If Mnangagwa doesn’t take action against Mukupe then the
2,5 million people living with HIV and AIDS will find a solution via the ballot box.

The people of Harare East must
stand up against this uncultured, barbaric and silly
Member of Parliament.”
