ZANU PF Hold Their Own Protest To Counter Chamisa
3 June 2018
President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s party, ZANU PF youths are holding their own protest march seen to counter that of the MDC party’s on Tuesday.
The development comes as the MDC announced it is going onto the streets to demand electoral reforms.
Zanu-PF UK chairman, Nick Mangwana, said the march will be in solidarity with President Mnangagwa’s call for peaceful elections and no to violence call.
The plan is that ZANU PF members will gather at Robert Mugabe Square at 10am on Tuesday 5 June.
MDC Alliance protesters will on the other hand hold their own protest first at Africa Unity Square, after which they will march to the ZEC offices.
It is there where they will present their document of demands and then proceed to Munhumutapa building.
