Army Raid Mubuso Chinguno’s Farm?

By Own Correspondent| The controversial former G40 leader for Manicaland Mubuso Chinguno was yesterday allegedly raided by soldiers.

Although he himself was not present at the time, the man’s workers were reportedly beaten up and kicked off his Chipinge farm.

The development was covered LIVE on ZimEye.com within the hour of it happened.

Chinguno in the below interview revealed to ZimEye that he had fled to South Africa following the Operation Restore Order “coup” of November last year.

He said upon returning to Zimbabwe he found himself involved in a tussle with an army colonel who wants to take his farm as punishment for supporting the former First Lady Grace Mugabe.

Just an hour after making the report, the man was arrested at Mutare Police station over a different matter.

A source revealed to ZimEye.com “it is in connection with the Chipinge Stands case,” shortly after the arrest.
