By Simba Chikanza| A man and a woman were caught in the act and arrested, after stealing a UK based Zimbabwean man’s ID and title deeds while the diasporan was over 5000 kilometres away in England. The two key documents were cloned.

The victim tells ZimEye he believes these were likely all printed right from the root database, inside the Registrar General Tobaiwa Mudede’s office.

The case goes to court on the 9th July.

Yes it is very possible to clone one’s ID and all their title deeds while that person is outside the country. ZimEye is in the next few days investigating and profiling this intriguing case of phenomenal deceit. WATCH THE INTRO BELOW:
