Police in Masvingo have received a report about the intimidation of losing MDC Alliance candidate for Chivi Central, Henry Chivanga.

Chivhanga was shocked to see bullet casings at his house in Masvingo and he reported the matter to the police.Chivanga lost to Ephraim Gwanongodza of Zanu PF.

Below are Chivanga’ s tweets:
“My name is Henry Chivhanga, and I was the MDC Alliance candidate for Chivi Central Constituency. My wife found bullet casings outside our door. Maybe this was a warning.”

“We made a police report. Ref 8715/18. Thank you to all who are praying for our safety. In God we put our hope and trust. We go to sleep tonight hoping that whoever planted the bullet casings will not come back to ‘finish’ what he/she started. Pray for Zimbabwe.”
