Terrence Mawawa|A 17-year school pupil from Bulawayo who killed his friend with a stone during a
scuffle passed out in court soon after his warned and cautioned statement was read out.

The boy, who cannot be named because he is a minor, has to appear at the Western Commonage Courts once every month for his routine remand until his trial.

During yesterday’s court proceedings he started gasping for air and
collapsed. This occurred when his deceased friend’s relatives walked into the courtroom.

As the accused turned to walk out of the courtroom he saw the deceased’ s relatives and began to quiver as he panted for air.Prosecutors administered first aid on him and called an ambulance.
