Energy and Power Development Minister, Dr Joram Gumbo says jerry cans have not been banned but the public should observe the law and handle fuel with care as it is classified under the Hazardous Substances, Pesticides and Toxic Substances Regulations Statutory Instrument 12 of 2007.
