Terrence Mawawa|Civic organisations are determined to exert pressure on incompetent government officials who are sitting on community development initiatives.

A Community Development and Engagement Meeting was held in Zaka District as part of efforts to push government officials to facilitate community development programmes.

The meeting that was held at Four Miles Business Centre in Zaka District was facilitated by COTRAD in collaboration with Heal Trust.

” The meeting was held as part of frantic measures to ensure the implementation of community projects. For instance we are deeply concerned about the delay in the construction of a clinic in the area in spite of the fact that the project is well funded,” said a COTRAD official.
