Mugabe’s Blue Roof Mansion Thieves Jailed

By Own Correspondent| A Zimbabwe National Army (ZNA) soldier has been jailed after he was found guilty of illegally entering former president Robert Mugabe’s Blue Roof mansion in Harare’s Borrowdale area.

The soldier Ngonidzashe Kapasura, 26 was jailed 16 months by Harare magistrate Victoria Mushamba on Thursday.

He will however serve an effective 6 months behind bars after the rest of his sentence was suspended on condition of good behaviour.

Kapasura and his accomplice Raymond Chahwanda who was also slapped with a 16 months jail term were caught red-handed with the property that had been stolen from the mansion by a security guard just before midnight on January 6 2019.
