Farai Dziva|Top officials at Masvingo City Council have been thrown in a quandary following revelations that the money offered to the local authority for a road rehabilitation project by
Nyaradzo Life Assurance was squandered.

The company offered to resurface a 100m stretch of road leading to their offices.

However, top officials at the Civic Centre, the city council headquarters are at pains to clarify how the funds were administered.

City engineer Tawanda Gozo has admitted they have been sitting on the project.Gozo blamed the delays in the implementation of the project on rains.
