Jane Mlambo| With the MDC now done with five provinces out of 13, it appears the incumbent leader Nelson Chamisa is proving too strong for his lieutenants Douglas Mwonzora and Elias Mudzuri who made a lot of noise about running for the party Presidency.
Yesterday, Chamisa bagged his fifth nomination with Mwonzora only getting a single nomination for the position of Secretary General while Mudzuri is still to appear on any party list.
A surprise candidate for the Secretary General Charlton Hwende has also secured four provinces with Mwonzora winning the fifth.
From The look of things, Hwende is proving equally strong and is likely to bag snatch the position from Mwonzora who is hoping to secure at least a single nomination to guarantee his candidature to face off Chamisa come 24 May.
