By Own Correspondent- President Emmerson Mnangagwa has expressed optimism that the country will realise modernisation, industrialisation, growth and economic growth.

In his press statement on the occasion of Workers Day celebrations issued Tuesday night, Mnangagwa said:

“As workers, you are an integral cog as we drive towards the attainment of vision 2030. We appreciate and salute the contributions and hard work and sacrifice that you continue to make in building our great nation.

You are a sector that we are going to give due attention in the 2nd republic. We know that with you as partners, we will realise the modernisation, industrialisation, growth and prosperity of our economy. Working together, Zimbabwe shall surely rise.”
