Farai Dziva|MDC founding member and lawyer, David Coltart has described the High Court ruling that nullified Nelson Chamisa’s presidency as “empty thunder.”

Journalist and filmmaker Hopewell Chin’ono said :” I am not a lawyer, I expect lawyers to give us their views in due course.”

Coltart referred to the judgement as “a brutum fulmen – ‘empty thunder’, an ineffective order.
He also called it a “pathetic interference with the due processes of a political party.”
