SHALOM. As the National Chairperson of National Women’s Assembly i Paurina Mpariwa i am saddened by the loss of our Secretary General in Women’s Assembly Hon Vimbai Tsvangirai-Java.

She was the eldest daughter of our late icon Dr Richard Morgan Tsvangirai, Hon Vimbai Tsvangirai Java was the recently elected Women’s Assembly Secretary General and a Member of Parliament for Glenview South.

She succumbed to the injuries sustained in a horrific accident which claimed two other cadres while traveling from a Provincial Caucus in Bulawayo..

Surely we have been robbed a loyal member by blood as the daughter of the founding President and by choice as a serving member through her ability.

As the Women’s Assembly we join hands with the President of Movement Democratic Change Adv Nelson Chamisa, The Tsvangirai and Java families, The Glenview South constituency, Friends and Relatives and the Nation at large in mourning the loss of Vimbai Tsvangirai-Java.

She managed to bridge the gap between politics and religion by serving people both as a political servant and religious minister.

We shall therefore thrive to emulate your good deeds. We shall never be tired.

As women our tears shall forever continue to fall down but we believe we shall continue with the Struggle…
