Farai Dziva|ZIFA has booted Chamu Chiwanza out of the executive committee.

Chiwanza is a close ally of former president Philip Chiyangwa.

The administrator was on suspension since July after the association accused him of sabotage which resulted in national team players striking during the Afcon 2019.

“The Zimbabwe Football Association disciplinary committee met on the 14th of August 2019 and deliberated on a matter involving Executive Committee Member Rodrick Chamunorwa Chiwanza.

Mr Chiwanza was found guilty in respect of two charges of fraud and bringing the game of football into disrepute.

Consequently, the Disciplinary Committee verdict is that Mr Chiwanza be expelled from being an Executive Committee member with immediate effect,” said ZIFA in a statement.
