According to MDC Vice President Tendai Biti, police have arrested the party deputy organising secretary Buda Masara accusing her of being the convenor of the August 16 demonstration in Harare.

Posting on Twitter, Biti said; “The regime has arrested our Deputy Organising Secretary Mrs Buda Masara. Her crime is she is a co -convenor to our 16 August #demo which the police themselves thwarted by a dubious #Prohibition order.This regime has no shame ,no limit , no elasticity, no boundary, no principle.”
