Farai Dziva|Unruly Zanu PF members ran amok and assaulted police officers in Chitungwiza.

The youths also attacked the Mayor of Chitungwiza as they disrupted a council meeting.

“Violenced rocked Chitungwiza as over 50 Zanu PF Youths attacked the Mayor and beat up police details .

Thr Zanu PF youths beat up 4 police details attending to the scene and anti riot police had to be called in to disperse the marauding youths.

The full council meeting which was scheduled to take place today has been cancelled following the violence by Zanu PF youths at Chitungwiza Town Council.

The Mayor was injured and is currently being attended to at hospital,” a source told Zim Eye.com
