ZIM hip hop man of the moment Tinashe “Ti Gonzi” Gonzara was involved in a car accident on his way to Masvingo where he was set to perform.

The Zvenyu singer survived the car crash with some injuries and he was attended to at Beatrice Rural hospital.

Ti Gonzi said his brother was the one driving when they had an accident along the Beatrice-Masvingo road.

“My brother was driving me to Masvingo and the car reared off the road, when he tried to get back on track, he hit the oncoming car.

“So, paipesana mota aiwandira kuleft apa the road is narrow,” said Ti Gonzi.

Ti Gonzi who survived an attack earlier this year said he was okay and grateful to have come out of the accident alive as his.

“I am so grateful to God no one died but, my producer sustained a head injury on his forehead and I have injuries on the neck but it’s not that bad,” he added.

The rapper said his car was damaged beyond repair.

Fellow musicians and public figures have since taken to social media wishing Ti Gonzi a speedy recovery with his team as well.
