By A Correspondent- A senior serving officer in Mutare is allegedly being threatened with eviction from his place of residence by a colleague, ZimEye has learnt.

The accused and another senior police officer, whose name has been availed to this publication has reportedly hired another team of armed officers to carry out his instruction.

However, all this is happening under the watchful eyes of other armed Support Unit members, in a development which has been described by sources as a “ticking time bomb”.

Revealed the whistleblower:

“Please ask local journalists to visit flat number (withheld) at Umsasa Street, Murambi, Mutare near Chancellor Primary School where a serving Senior Officer’s family is threatened with eviction under watchful eyes of armed Support Unit members. Another Superintendent (name withheld) is leading a team of armed officers.
