By A Correspondent- Fire broke out at Kurima House in Harare, ZimEye can exclusively reveal.

The fire which emanated from the fifth floor at the complex which houses ZIMRA offices started around 12pm.

When our reporter visited Kurima House, the fire had been extinguished as the fire brigade reacted quickly in attending to the scene.

Said a witness who refused to be identified:

“There was pandemonium at this entrance as people ran for dear life and assembled at Africa Unity Square.

For the first time, the fire brigade was very quick to come and they put out the fire, but i am not sure how it started.”

It could not be immediately established how much property was damaged in the inferno.

ZIMRA superiors refused to entertain our reporter referring them to their head office.
