By Jane Mlambo| English Premier League side Aston Villa midfielder and Zimbabwe national, Marvelous Nakamba has launched his own foundation named after him to help and support people in need.

Writing on Twitter, Nakamba said the foundation had already supported upto 1000 young people with school and examination fees.

Great news I have successfully launched the Marvelous Nakamba foundation in Zimbabwe. The purpose of the Foundation is to help and support our people in need and improve the livelihood of the young generation.

“Through the Foundation, we have managed to fund 1000 young people with their Education tuition and exam fees. We will continue to reach out to more young people who can benefit from this support,” said Nakamba.

The combative defensive midfielder moved to English side Aston Villa from Belgium. He has become a key player of the club and has been getting rave reviews from the club fans over his consistency.
