By A Correspondent- A local Zimbabwean company has been fined for distributing and selling sub-standard sanitisers.

Prochem (Pvt) Limited reportedly paid a $3 000 fine over the offence.

However, the company said it had manufactured the substandard batch before standards were set with the advent of the #Covid19 pandemic.

ZimEye has contacted the company for a comment and will give an update when they respond.
