Farai Dziva|The country’s lockdown is a calculated move meant to annihilate the country’s main opposition formation, an MDC Alliance official has said.

Writing on Facebook, MDC Alliance official, Antony Taruvinga, pointed out Zanu PF is desperate to dismantle the MDC Alliance led by Advocate Nelson Chamisa.

Taruvinga argued:

This lockdown is only meant dismantle Nelson Chamisa politically.

It has nothing to do with the virus at all. They are busy bribing members of MDC-A National Executive to dump Chamisa for Khupe and for cash and promises of posts in Mnangagwa’s administration.
It’s happening and some members have already fallen into the trap.

My idea is that let’s defy the lockdown nonsense and start rolling out our mass rallies.

People need to know where the leadership stands. People are only relying on unverified reports and are getting confused by the passing of each day.

We actually need to break the chains of the lockdown and start ring fencing our territories.
