By Jane Mlambo| Norton legislator Temba Mliswa has urged ministers to follow the law and not be swayed into shady deals by compulsion of being close to power.

Mliswa said ministers should learn the importance of doing things in black and white as public officials.

He posted this on Twitter in reference to the arrest of health and child care minister Obadiah Moyo.

“The case of Dr Obadiah Moyo shows that our Ministers do not learn. In that position it’s important that one do things in black and white. Just follow the law and not be swerved into shady deals by the compulsion of being close to power. It will come back to haunt you,” said Mliswa.

Moyo is set to appear in court today on charges of corruption over his role in what has come to be known as the Covid-gate.
