Zimbabwe has recorded its biggest jump for a single day in Covid-19 cases.

The Ministry of Health and Child Care announced on Saturday that 490 new cases were recorded. Of major concern is that 485 of those are local contact cases.

The huge jump brings the national tally to 3,659 recorded cases. The day also recorded two new deaths bringing to 69 the total and 7 recoveries bringing to 1011 in total it means there are 2,579 active cases.
