By Business Reporter| The recently fired Energy Minister Fortune Chasi is set to be fired within the next 72 hours, it has emerged.
A ZimEye source said Chasi is being apprehended over allegations of corruption involving controversial businessmen Wicknell Chivayo (Intratek owner) and one, Farai Jere who owns Helcraw Electricals.
Chasi has been the most popular ZANU PF minister on social media since his days when he was Deputy Minister Of Justice, Emmerson Mnagagwa’s immediate junior, during the Robert Mugabe era.
Chasi will be arrested in 72 hours’ time, the source suggested on Saturday. Their claim correlated with that of Justice Minister Ziyambi Ziyambi who last week publicly announced saying Chasi was fired over corruption allegations.
Chasi is Zimbabwe's most used and abused minister since Mugabe's days?

The development comes however as the exiled prof Jonathan Moyo last week to the other hand, claimed that the real reason Chasi was fired
for removing the former ZESA boss Sidney Gata who is Mnangagwa’s brother in law. Their wives are sisters.
