By A Correspondent-  Mthwakazi Republic Party (MRP) claims Ingutsheni Hospital in Bulawayo recently employed 11 general hands from outside Matabeleland, a move it says is tantamount to marginalisation of people from the region.

In a petition addressed to the hospital, Health ministry, Office of the President and Bulawayo Metropolitan Provincial minister Judith Ncube, the party said the employment of the general hands was discriminatory.

“At all times the state and all institutions of government at every level must ensure that appropriate and adequate measures are undertaken to create employment for all Zimbabweans, especially women and youths,” reads the petition.

MRP said the constitution stipulates fair regional representation.
